Teachers' Trip

DGSG Public School had an exciting and enriching school trip for the teachers to Choki Dhani, an ethnic village resort that showcase the vibrant culture, traditions and heritage of Rajasthan. The visit was filled with cultural activities, traditional Rajasthani food, and fun filled experiences. Upon arrival, the Principal Dr. Rajni Angrish madam, the school President Ms. Gurpal Kaur Ji, the Headmistress Ms. Harpreet Kaur madam and all the staff members were welcomed with traditional Rajasthani folk dances, including Ghoomar dance. The graceful movements and colourful attire of the dancers fascinated us all. Some of the teachers even got a chance to join in the dance and try out some steps, which was a fun and memorable experience. The teachers enjoyed Rajasthani food over there. We also visited the craft stalls where local artisans displayed their hand crafted items, including pottery, wooden toys, paintings and colourful textiles. Our trip to Choki Dhani was an unforgettable experience and we also gained valuable knowledge about the cultural diversity of India.

After that a great surprise was given to all the staff members of the DGSG Public School by the school management. They took the teachers for the visit to AASMA Revolving Restaurant. It is a unique dining spot in Panchkula, offering stunning panoramic views of the city while serving up delicious Indian cuisine. This rooftop restaurant stands out with its one-of-a-kind revolving feature, providing a 360 perspective from 150 feet above the ground. The teachers were very excited as it was a new experience to visit such kind of unique restaurant. They clicked photographs and enjoyed snacks over there.
