Stop Stubble Burning

Stop Stubble Burning

On July 22, 2025, DGSG Public School, organized a poster-making competition for the students from class III to V. Through to their posters the students tried to raise public awareness about the harmful effects of stubble burning and the benefits of alternative methods. This includes promoting alternative crop management practices, utilizing crop residue for bioenergy and other products and implementing stricter regulations against burning. Stubble can be utilized in construction, packaging and various industrial processes. By combining these approaches, a significant reduction in stubble burning can be achieved, leading to improved air quality and a healthier environment.
