Teej Celebration

The Teej festival at DGSG Public School was a lively event with lots of color, music and tradition. The event was a beautiful show of Punjabi culture, showing off the skills, grace and history of our students, especially our young girls! The students from class participated in this event.

The tiny-tots performed Giddha and Bhangra gracefully. There were many solo performances by the girls as well as the boys. Punjabi folk dances and songs made the occasion more colorful and meaningful. The Principal Dr. Rajni Angrish mam was overwhelmed with the preparation and creativity of students and appreciated the joint efforts of students and teachers. She conveyed a message that the motto of organizing these kind of cultural activities is to help the students to relate and bind them with their culture.
