Ludhiana is a pretty little city nestled in the lap of Punjab. It offers a vibrant lifestyle and is habited by friendly people. Nehru Rose Garden is one of the most famous places to visit. Oozing the natural beauty, it is a paradise for nature lovers who seek peace and tranquillity.

Students from classes I to VIII of DGSG Public School went on an educational one day trip to The Rose Garden, Baglamukhi Dham and Neelkanth Mahadev Temple on 6th of December 2025. First of all the students visited The Rose Garden. There were rows of roses all over the garden. The roses were of different colours like red, pink, yellow and many more with a sweet fragrance of roses all over the garden and many butterflies were roaming. around the roses. Bees were sucking nectar from the flowers. In the middle of the garden there was a huge sprinkler, which was sprinkling water on the rose plants. Inside the garden, there were slides and swings; the students enjoyed playing there. The students had meal at the afternoon. They also enjoyed chess, Badminton and other games which they had already carried with them. After that, we visited Maa Baglamukhi Temple, which is dedicated to Goddess Baglamukhi, one of the ten Mahavidyas. The students and the teachers bowed their heads for seeking divine blessings, protection or removal of obstacles in life. The temple offers a peaceful and sacred space where devotees can connect with the divine and receive Maa’s blessings.

Then, the trip went to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, one of the most famous and revered temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in Punjab. It is believed to be the sacred place where Lord Shiva consumed the poison that came out during Samudra Manthan and that made his throat blue in colour. Thus, Lord Shiva is known as Neelkanth.

The students enjoyed the trip as over 350 students were there in the trip this time. It was a huge and unforgettable experience for all the students and the teachers.
