Shabad Kirtan Competition

kirtan is the recitation of spiritual hymns from the holy book of Sikhs ‘Guru Granth Sahib Ji’. Shabad Kirtan has the power to gently lift listeners straight into their innermost souls, resulting in a tremendous feeling of joyful calm.

On 24th of July, there was a Shabad Kirtan Competition, Organised by GGN
Public School, DGSG Public School students participated in the competition. There were 10 schools participated in the junior round competition and 12 schools participated in the senior round competition. All the schools performed spiritually.

kirtan envelops the sense in division sound making it easier to pull the mind away from wordly thoughts and direct it toward God.
