Republic Day

The day is celebrated to commemorate the day when the Constitution of independent India came into effect. It was on January 26, 1950 that India declared herself a sovereign, democratic and republican state with the adaptation of the Constitution. Preparation for the celebration of Republic Day were going on in full swing at D.G.S.G Public School. This day was celebrated with much enthusiasm and energy at school to teach students about the importance of patriotism. The students from class I to V prepared different activities in their classes. The aim behind the celebration is to instill a sense of pride and unity in students.
