Gurpurab Celebration

On 4th November 2025, Our DGSQ Public school celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti also known as Gurpurab. On this auspicious occasion, the students of DGSQ Public School came in white and saffron attires. A soothing kirtan was sung by the students from class III to VIII. The campus was decorated with flowers and decorative materials. The beautiful paintings showing about the life experiences of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji were also displayed on the walls of the school campus. 

Our school Headmistress Ms. Harpreet Kaur interacted with the students and made them aware about the teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Since it was a special day, the programme was followed by ‘Langar Seva’. Along with Langar, the mouth-watering ‘Karah Prasad’ was also served. Our school President S. Danish Grewal Ji, Mrs. Gurpal Kaur and our school Principal Dr. Ranj Angrish mam blessed the students and stated that such activities hold a great importance as these connect the present generation with their roots.
