Farewell Party

Farewell events hold a special place in every student’s life. They are not just about saying goodbye but also about cherishing the memories made over the years. It’s a moment to look back at their school journey while preparing to step into the world beyond. D.G.S.G. organised a heart-felt farewell celebration for the outgoing batch of 2024–25 on March 29, 2025, at Smantaran Ville. The event was filled with emotions, nostalgia and best wishes as students, teachers and staff gathered to bid farewell to the 10th class. The program commenced with a warm welcome speech by students of class 9th followed by a series of cultural performances, including songs and dances which reflected the students’ journey and cherished moments in school. The senior students also shared their experiences, expressing gratitude towards their teachers and mentors for their guidance and support. The highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony where students were honoured with awards of Mr. Farewell, Ms. Farewell, Student of the Year and Best Sports Student. Gursham Singh bagged the Mr. Farewell. Miss Farewell was bagged by Harleen Kaur. Anshpreet Kaur and Dilpreet Singh bagged the Student of the Year. The title of School Star went to Gagandeep Singh. The school principal Dr. Rajni Anguish delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to strive for excellence and uphold the values instilled in them. Our president madam Mrs. Gurpal Kaur ji encouraged the students and the teachers for their better lives and also wished the outgoing batches success in their future endeavours. The evening was concluded with the emotional song sung by Chanpreet Singh. The event was a memorable one, leaving everyone emotional with lots of memories to cherish.
