Baisakhi Celebration

Baisakhi Celebration

Baisakhi marks the first day of the month of Vaisakh and is traditionally celebrated annually on 13 April. It is seen as a spring harvest celebration primarily in Punjab. Keeping up with the festive spirit and to help our young generation get culturally connected, AGS Public School celebrated this harvest festival of Baisakhi with great zeal and enthusiasm on 12th of April 2025 for the students of classes I to V. Our little tiny tots were beautifully dressed for the occasion. They looked stunning in their vibrant Punjabi attire and were addressed as “Gabru” and “Mutiyars” by their teachers. The little munchkins very enthusiastically participated in learning the significance of the festival through a short story and reciting poems on Baisakhi. The session came alive with the mesmerizing dhol beats, music, and watching the little ones dancing on the foot-tapping music was a feast for the eyes. The celebration brought our little ones closer to the dazzling beauty of the Indian culture.
